About the foundation "Sunny Homestead"

Our history

Our story began almost ten years ago - with a handful of friends united by a common passion and love for animals. We encountered abandoned, sick, often hungry and frightened dogs along our way. We helped them as best as we could - sharing our homes, time, resources, and hearts. With each passing year, the number of rescued dogs grew. There were more and more that needed not just temporary care, but a safe place where they could regain trust and joy in life. It was then that the idea of creating a unique space was born - a place without bars, full of love and respect. A year ago, we decided to give our activities a new form and established the "Sunny Homestead" Foundation. Here, we want to give animals a second chance - not just for survival, but for a life full of dignity, closeness, and light. "Sunny Homestead" is more than just a foundation - it is a home of hope, where every animal is treated like a friend.

What distinguishes us?

What distinguishes us is an approach based on respect and freedom. In our shelter, there are no bars or cages – animals live freely, surrounded by care and love. We fight against harmful practices – we will never agree to chains, loneliness, or feeding with anything less than what they deserve. Here, every animal gets what it truly needs: space, safety, good food, and affection. We also believe in educating the youngest, teaching them from the beginning that every animal is a sentient being deserving of respect and a dignified life. Our goal is not only care but also changing awareness and building a world where an animal is not inferior to a human.
